Artist's Description
Except for his obvious Americanization, this American Indian makes his living posing on the edge of this cliff in Monument Valley. Overlooking the commercialism of the situation, you can image looking back in time when this Native American might have been watching a wagon train below. Gone would be the jeans, hat, and saddle.
About Paul Mashburn
I have always been intrigued with photography. I did sports, fashion, news, and wedding photography for a time, but even after I started a career where photography was no longer a part of the work, I kept firing away for personal reasons and to document my life. The photos came in handy for my personal blog http://mushysmoochings.blogspot.com. I still write there quite a bit, but documenting the theater restoration project keeps me pretty busy. I hope you enjoy my photos, because the process gives me great personal pleasure. Even if you don't buy, please leave a comment to keep driving me on! Beautiful image of Monument Valley. So many images taken in that area are of the rock formations alone, this one is most definitely set apart from the rest. Fantastic!
