The John P. Cable Mill, located in Cade's Cove area of the Smoky Mountain National Park, is still working today, turning out fine corn meal. The flume redirects water from a nearby stream, and controls the flow, and thus the speed of the wheel. Cades Cove is a wonderful place to see pioneer America and a wide variety of wildlife.
